Trained in biological science, Shinoid uses art as the ultimate filter to process the experiences and the world around her. Shinoid is often inspired by nature, calligraphy, music, and inquiries on human consciousness. The artist is interested in finding beauty at the in-between places that have blurred or merged boundaries - such as between nature and man-made, between imagining and remembering, as well as between unconscious influence and the conscious mind.
